2010 Hyundai Accent facelift

2010 Hyundai Verna
The above picture is Korean domestic market 2010 Hyundai Verna, aka the Accent sedan in the U.S. Allegedly, the U.S.-market Accent will received this facelift for its 2010 models, too; I'd assume both the three-door hatchback and sedan will receive the treatment.

As you can see, the front end has been substantially tweaked. According to WorldCarFans.com, the Verna/Accent will also get USB/auxiliary inputs for MP3 players, a standard subwoofer, and available Bluetooth connectivity.

Another interesting feature WCF is reporting the Verna/Accent will have is the ECO Assist system that helps drivers pilot the vehicle more economically. Plus, there will be fuel economy increases engine wise.

I can't help but see a slight Mercedes AMG look to the lower part of the grille. Truthfully, I think the front end is a bit over styled, something that Hyundai has done on past models (2000-2001 Tiburon anyone?). However, the Accent, which has been selling well in 2009, is in need of a bit more attitude, and perhaps this will help.

It's got a mouth like a catfish. I like it. Can't wait to thrash the hell out of one from Avis :) The last one I rented came back with bullet holes in it...

Wow--bullet holes. That can't be good. Catfish is a good description. However, it's not terrible. Like I said, the Accent needs a bit of attitude.
