Suzuki announced that it is doing a "very special global debut of two special Suzuki vehicles" at the New York Auto Show. So what could it be? Turbo Kizashi? Suzuki Swift? Suzuki Jimny? Hopefully it's cool whatever it is. I'm banking on a higher-performance Kizashi and the Suzuki Swift. We'll see, so stay tuned.

If they can get good gas mileage on the Jimny, it could destroy the Jeep Wrangler! Especially if they keep the price down.
I'd rock a Jimny in a heartbeat. I still don't think it'll come over to the U.S. as much as I'd love it to.
One can dream bout the Jimny, but you're probably right. I have doubts bout the Swift too, I doubt they'd want to step on the SX4's market here, unless they dropped the sedan.
The SX4's getting old, so I'm guessing either the new generation or the're dropping it in favor of the Swift and maybe a 5-door Kizashi.
@nlpnt
SX4 OLD??? 07-11.... that's only 5 years. How about the Taurus or Mustang, Civic or Accord? Slight redesign may be a good thing (the sedans have always been stale imho), but axing the line all together is probably foolish. In America Suzuki cars have been getting a bad wrap, and swapping a mainstay car line every couple years does not instill confidence in consumers.
In reality Suzuki has a great hype machine I think very little will come of this. We will see a new small tweak on the Kizashi and then some concept that will provide no production value to any car. The yen to dollar ratio makes getting the Swift rather dumb of Suzuki's part and I think the SX4 will not get a refresh unit the 2013 model year as Suzuki goes 6 years on a car, Swift 04-10, GV 03-09, ect.
@murphyseanm You make some good points with the Yen. I've heard that for the past couple of years from Suzuki.
No offense, but I hope you're wrong! :-p
However, with the Kizashi Sport; I think the fallout with GM is the reason we didin't get a V-6 in the Kizashi. It was likely a done deal (or nearly) until that happened. Some big news from Suzuki, however, would be great. We'll see.
