1992 Mitsubishi Road Test via MotorWeek

1992 Mitsubishi Expo LRV MotorWeek Review

Admittedly, I have a thing for the old MotorWeek reviews. Maybe it's because I watched them growing up. I recently stumbled upon a review of my first car: the 1992 Mitsubishi Expo LRV.

For what it's worth, my 1992 model was not the teal color, unfortunately (mine was Carmel Blue Metallic and Chateaux Silver Metallic), nor did it have the five-spoke alloy wheels which I found super hot at the time (mine had steel wheels and hubcaps). It did, however, have the anti-lock braking system and four-wheel disc brakes. Mine was a manual. I'd say this review is pretty spot on. Someday, I'll have another one. But I'd want a 1994 with the airbags and the 2.4-liter. Or find a 1.8-liter and swap it for the 4G63T from an Eclipse/Lancer EVO. It's been my dream project for many years; someday I'll get around to it.
