Ducati Scotty and I stopped by Beaverton Honda last night to take a look at a new Fit and Civic for his family. However, In the showroom sits this mint condition Honda N600. I believe this used to reside at their powersrpots dealership down the road. Regardless, it's a fine example of a very early Honda auto. The tag hanging from the mirror reads "PRICE: THEN: _____ NOW: Priceless"
In addition, they also had a mint Honda 50 scooter. Who doesn't love small vintage vehicles?

Honda's retro city car to harken back to the N600
Perhaps you remember the retro-styled Honda N Concept car from late last year. It looked like what you'd expect an N600 rehash to look like, and frankly that's a good thing. According to Left Lane News, it looks like it's going into production.
The leaked images are apparently computer-generated patent images, and this vehicle would be considered a kei car in Japan. Left Lane News says the car would be powered by a 660cc VTEC engine making 64 horsepower. That means we'll likely not see it in North America. Expect more info later in the year.

Subcompact Showcase: Wryann's 1971 Honda N600
"A lot of people are under the impression that micro cars are something new," says Wryann VanRiper. Wryann owns VIP Performance in Portland, OR. For the last 9 months, Wryann has been restoring a 1971 Honda N600.
The N600 was Honda's first car sold in the U.S., and much like the AZ600 (the "sporty" model) we featured in September, 2009, they've picked up a cult following. Wryann's N600 is also an example of the growing interest in restoring vintage Japanese cars.
So why an N600? Wryann says a friend of his started to get into micro cars and he helped him go pick up a classic mini cooper in northern California. He got to drive the car and started to like smaller cars.
