Subcompact Culture Appears on the Test Miles Radio Show

On February 22, Mercedes and I had the pleasure of appearing on the Test Miles Radio Show, which airs at 10am-11am PST on 101.1 KXL FM News Radio in Portland (or on KXL.com). We had great time with the crew and got to talk about all things Subcompact Culture related; we hope to be a guest again soon.

If you didn't get a chance to listen to the original broadcast, listen to it below.

Great interview.

I'm from the Pacific Northwest, and I see tons of compact cars around here. A lot of Prii [pree-ahy](Toyota's accepted term for the plural of Prius) occupy the roads. In fact, I've considered purchasing one myself. I haven't yet, but it's on my list.

I think subcompact cars are going up in use, mainly because they are very economical and practical especially if you live in the city and when you need to find the proper parking space, but the downside is you dont have a lot of storage available.

I love compact car for parking reasons. My wife hates it, though. It's too cramped when we're going on a long trip. Can't get all of our stuff in.

Love the small cars simply because of their ability to move through traffic, ease of parking and low turning radius. Moved from SUV to small car and proud of it.
