Photos from the 6th Annual Mt. St. Helens Cruise

Scion FR-S with Five Axis goodies
Scion Corporate out of Portland brought this FR-S with a Five Axis body kit and wheels.
Subcompact Culture was part of the 6th Annual Mt. St. Helens cruise today, and it was great. Well, everything was great except the weather at the top, which was terrible. Cold, foggy, breezy, nasty. We didn't spend much time up at Johnston Ridge Observatory this year, but someone amazingly, we ended up at an 1/8th mile drag strip instead. The folks at Riverdale Raceway in Toutle, Washington invited us to check out their raceway, and even let us do a bit of racing—awesome and unexpected.

As usual, there was an epic picnic/BBQ afterwards, and swag from Scion Corporate, 2zero6Factory, Wicked Automotive Kustoms, and Five Axis. Thanks to all those that participated and helped to organize; without you all this can't happen each year.

You can check out some of our photos at the Subcompact Culture Facebook page. Do it!

Wow, the fitment of those tires on those wheels is terrible! The wheels are asking for curb rash, and it doesn't look like it would take much to peel the tire's bead off the rim. I never understood the too-narrow-to-fit look of those tires.

Wish I could have been there! Looks like a great turnout in spite of the weather.
