In the driveway: 2010 Suzuki Equator outfitted by ARB

No, this definitely is not a subcompact, but it is in my driveway. Hey, I like all cars, and I have a new day job in the off-road industry (actually, it's a return to the off-pavement world in which I've also been since 2006), so this review truck works out well.

Anyway, this is the 2010 Suzuki Equator (essentially a rebadged Nissan Frontier sold through Suzuki dealers) wears a host of aftermarket goodies including ARB front and rear bumpers and side rails; a Thule bed rack with ARB tent; IPF lights, an Old Man Emu suspension system with between a 1.5" and 2" lift, and Walker Evans wheels with BF Goodrich tires.

All this coupled with the truck's 4WD system and rear locker mean it's totally capable of some off-road action. Thus far, it rides well for a lifted truck and would be a lot of fun off the highways.
