Crazy project: Rotary-powered Suzuki Sidekick

While doing my usual browse of craigslist, I ran across what might be one of the best sleep projects I'd seen this year. This Estacada, OR resident took a Suzuki Sidekick two door and threw in a turbocharged, built Mazda 13B rotary engine. The owner says the vehicle has Haltech stand-alone fuel management, a mini-spool in the rear end, line lock, rollbar, front mount intercooler, and nitrous that has allegedly never been used. The craigslist posting says you can see more at, but the site didn't work for me. The owner is asking $5,000 for the project.

I'm the kind of guy who loves great sleepers, and totally gets giddy thinking about blowing the doors off of sports cars in a turbocharged Sidekick.
