The zero-emissions Nissan Leaf: 367 MPG

Recently, I posted how the Chevrolet Volt will get 230 MPG city. Nissan is apparently trying to steal the Volt's thunder by the announcement of the Leaf, which Nissan claims will get a mind-boggling 367 MPG.

According to Nissan, the Leaf will comfortably seat five adults, and will get more than 100 miles to the charge. They're also saying it will be affordable, but no prices has been given. One of the more important features: The ability to charge 80% of the battery in only 30 minutes.

The Leaf is slated for a U.S., Japanese, and European launch in 2010. Visit Nissan's official Leaf site for compete info.
