Auto Express is reporting that the UK's much loved Ford Puma is set to return. The small couple, which went away in 2001, will allegedly return riding on the new Ford Fiesta chassis.
The U.S. market seems to still prefer coupes over hatchbacks. I wonder if this will hit U.S. shores?

I'm not so sure about it, or about coupes selling better than hatchbacks; the Focus coupe seems to have disappeared off the face of the earth, Cobalt coupes sell on price alone and even the Civic coupe seems to be losing steam as Honda's supply of Fits catches up with demand.
Then again, Suzuki SX4s are everywhere around here so Vermont might not be representative of the whole country.
I think, in general, Americans typically prefer coupes or sedans to hatchbacks. At least that's been the stereotype. The b-segment seems to be a bit different, though, at least as of late.
