Consumer Reports has released its annual reilability rankings, and Scion was ranked number one for this year. On top of that, the Scion xD was ranked the number one vehicle overall for reliability.
Overall top five were like this:
1. Scion
2. Acura
3. Honda
4. Toyota
5. Lexus
Of the top five, two were subcompacts—the xD and the Honda Fit.
FYI, the Scion xD is based on the Toyota Yaris chassis, and uses a 128 hp, 1.8-liter engine. It is also sold in Japan as the Toyota Ist.
