We recently attended the AVANTS Portland Weird and Wacky Car Show. This was the third time this show has been held, and the second one we attended. The weather was perfect, the cars were awesome, and the community was outstanding. We even shot a video.
We went big by going small and brought our JDM 1998 Suzuki Jimny Wide. We just got our Front Runner Outfitters Slimline II rack (made specifically for the 1998-2018 Jimny) on just in time for the show, too. We were far from being the only small car at the event, however. There were modern kei cars, such as a Honda Life Dunk and Daihatsu Midget II, and tiny classics like a BMW Isetta and a Messerschmitt KR200, just to name a few. We showcase these mini cars in the video, so be sure to have a look.
This event is so much fun, and we can't wait for the 2027 iteration. But until then, have a look at the video and enjoy.
