This pic is actually several years old, but I still love it. (I think it was originally on the WORK Wheels Web site.) Here's a Datsun 2000 Sports Fairlady wearing WORK Equip 01 wheels, lowered down, and looking bad ass. To me, this this Fairlady is the epitome of a cool old-school JDM vehicle with a modern twist.

Strange how people made fun of these old school JDMs at the time, yet these are the cars that really did it for these guys.
Old School JDM cars are like Jimmy's burger stand. Its not famous, but his burgers are the best EVER becuase they all feel like they are quality made. Many new School JDM cars are like Mc Donalds, however. A bunch of corporate stuff thrown together for buyers who didnt care for the most part and wanted to eat.
Datsun/Nissan is the epitome of this. Now its like the Japanese are ignoring their mass market brands, and have put all of that attention to detail in the Luxury companies.
Nice Fairlady. This needs to be shipped to Nissan North America to show them what attention to detail in mass market cars really means again.
