Crazy project: Rotary-powered Suzuki Sidekick
While doing my usual browse of craigslist, I ran across what might be one of the best sleep projects I'd seen this year. This Estacada, OR resident took a Suzuki Sidekick two door and threw in a turbocharged, built Mazda 13B rotary engine. The owner says the vehicle has Haltech stand-alone fuel management, a mini-spool in the rear end, line lock, rollbar, front mount intercooler, and nitrous that has allegedly never been used. The craigslist posting says you can see more at http://zuki-r.com, but the site didn't work for me. The owner is asking $5,000 for the project.
I'm the kind of guy who loves great sleepers, and totally gets giddy thinking about blowing the doors off of sports cars in a turbocharged Sidekick.
