Amazing twin-charged Subaru Justy project with video

Twincharged Subaru Justy
While browsing the Subaru Justy Forum, I ran across what might be the craziest, most awesome Justy project ever. Although people have swapped WRX engines and running gear into the little Subarus in the past, this forum member from Switzerland built up an existing Justy 1.2-liter three-banger, and added not only a turbocharger, but also a supercharger. This is not just some backyard special. This baby is built.

Twincharged Subaru JustyThe Swiss builder used an Eaton M45 supercharger from a VW Golf V GT, and a turbocharger from a SAAB. Obviously, the supercharger helps the low-end power. In addition, the engine has aftermarket Carrillo rods, an enormous front-mount intercooler, an aftermarket radiator in the rear, a high-performance clutch, a modified oil pump, and a bunch of other goodies. The car is not finished, and it looks to be an on-going project.

So what does it sound like? Check the videos below:

Indeed; it whines a lot. I'd love to hear that thing take off!
