Back from my nine-state road trip

Suzuki SX4 at Bear Tooth Pass - Subcompact Culture

I just got back from my nine-state road trip in our Suzuki SX4. My wife and I saw Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Montana, Wyoming, South Dakota, Minnesota, Wisconsin, and North Dakota. From driving I-84 through the Colombia River Gorge in Oregon, to HWY 35 along the Mississippi River in Wisconsin—we put on more than 4,500 miles in 11 days. We took some amazing mountain drives through Idaho, Montana, and Wyoming including Bear Tooth Pass, the roads through Yellowstone, and Coulter Pass ... at night ... in a hailstorm.

More soon!

Not a bad little trip. We added 12,000 miles to our Ford Fiesta last month as we touched all 48 states. Wish we could have met up!
