Suzuki adds new SX4 model for 2010 with new engine, transmission
According to Edmunds.com, the 2010 Suzuki SX4 will add a model called the SX4 Sportback. This will be the hatchback version of Suzuki's SX4 that rides a bit lower, has a mild aero package, and will come standard with 17" wheels/tires.
In addition, the 2010 SX4 will receive a new 2.0-liter 150 hp engine with variable valve timing mated to either a CVT or six-speed manual transmission. Other standard goodies include navigation, power windows/locks, a new instrument cluster, and more. No official word if this will be only offered in front-wheel drive, or if there will be an all-wheel drive version of the Sportback.
The vehicle should be available in Fall '09.
