The idea that a 1,200cc engine couldn't handle longer road trips is clearly refuted by your cross-country adventures. It's a testament to Mitsubishi's commitment to delivering reliable vehicles that can tackle hills and extended drives. Your Mirage proves that sometimes, the capabilities of a car can surprise those who underestimate them. The Mirage is the current king of that pile of cars. I traded up from a 2002 Toyota Echo (the Yaris by any other name) and haven't been a bit disappointed.

I plan on taking out the rear seat and using this tiny thing as a camper for the summer when I travel coast to coast, and then back again.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15514990433509931890noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4158601016174103420.post-40711654435549997922021-04-24T00:54:13.309-07:002021-04-24T00:54:13.309-07:00my mirage is more than 5 years already with 60kms ...my mirage is more than 5 years already with 60kms but this small car is a beast!

Nice write up! and nice Mirage mods you got there!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4158601016174103420.post-4514517457678603852021-04-22T04:30:19.456-07:002021-04-22T04:30:19.456-07:00I enjoy owning and driving only small cars, and ha...I enjoy owning and driving only small cars, and have done so for the last 45 years, starting with a 1970's VW Rabbit. I am currently driving a base Toyota Yaris AT hatchback that I bought new in 2007. It only has about 125,000 miles on it so far and I'm going to keep on driving it until it finally needs some major repair like an automatic transmission rebuild. To date it has needed nothing other than routine maintenance and a few sets of inexpensive tires and some wiper blades. It is by far the most trouble-free car I have owned in the last 50 years. For a number of recent years I have planned on buying a used Mirage someday when the Yaris finally ends its useable service life. I live in central PA and the Mirage is quite popular in this area, so when the time comes I'll have plenty to choose from.Donhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11626541049427176461noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4158601016174103420.post-71545202766399554412021-04-21T11:40:48.436-07:002021-04-21T11:40:48.436-07:00As a fellow Mirage owner, you know I agree with ev...As a fellow Mirage owner, you know I agree with every single thing you said here. I regularly go on road trips, with one going over 3000 miles---and that was with a 6'6" guy sitting next to me the whole trip (no complaint's,either :) )! The whole trip averaged over 42mpg despite my heavy foot and keeping the cruise control set to 70 or higher. This is an amazing traveling companion and I was a skeptic at first thinking this will never do that....glad I was proven wrong! Michael Livotenoreply@blogger.com
